Yes, being as I now work at O'Reilly, I'm horribly biased, but if you haven't checked out Meerkat: An Open Wire Service, you should right now. Meerkat takes RSS (RDF Site Summary) files, the kind used for My Netscape channels or Slashboxes (at last count I found ~2500 RSS channels), scans them, and aggregates their content and headlines. You can customize whatever kinds of news or headlines you want, you can embed highly customized versions in other web sites, and basically get yer fill of any kind of technology news that could possibly be on the Web.

Oh, and weblogs? They're a form of RSS.
