We use professional flatbed slide scanners scanning to 4000 DPI. Color slides are scanned as JPEGS at 16 bit or 24 bit color. Black and white slides are scanned as JPEGS at 16 bit grayscale. Same low prices for cardboard, glass, metal or plastic mounted slides. Image enhancement of color and brightness levels is included. Digital images are cropped and rotated for proper orientation. Scanning is done in house, so your slides remain safe. |

USB FLASH DRIVES AND EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES VS DVDS
We do not recommend DVDs for slide transfers,
because you cannot edit, copy and share digital files from a DVD,
but you can from a USB flash drive and/or from an external hard drive.
However, if you still want your digital files on DVD,
we will do that for you at no charge.
And, there is no charge for copying digital files
to a USB flash drive and/or an external hard drive.
We do not recommend DVDs for slide transfers,

A DVD can hold up to 4.7GB

About 315 35mm slides scanned to JPEG at 3000 DPI.
About 175 35mm slides scanned to JPEG at 4000 DPI.
BLU-RAY DISCS
One Blu-Ray disc can hold 25GB (about 5 DVDs).
USB FLASH DRIVES
One 32GB USB drive is equal to about 7 DVDs.
USB3 EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES
Should be large enough to hold all your digitized .jpg files.
A DVD can hold up to 4.7GB
